More realistic physics tweaks
Some simple tweaks to physics and player control to help the game feel smoother and more realistic.
This simple mod tweaks some physics to help the game feel more realistic and smooths out ragdolls somewhat.
Changes:
– Gravity increased from 9.8… to 12.75, making the game feel less floaty. (Fall damage seems to be based on how much velocity you have when you hit the floor, so this makes falling more deadly too!)
– Ragdoll extra gravity removed, negating the janky transition when AI is killed and has extra gravity suddenly applied.
– Reduced “AirControlFactor” for the player, meaning less suddenly turning in the air, making you have to be quicker about deciding where you want to jump.
– Reduced the steepness of inclines you can easily walk up slightly, giving more use to the “Sleek runner” skill.
I have not found any bugs so far, but I have not completed the game yet, so there may be some I have no seen.
Installation:
Simply drop the “physics” folder in “data0.pak”.
