Fair Prices

Wait… you charged me 60.000 for these boots, but offered me 8 bucks for mine???

So… I hate the economy in this game. I hate it. I get you’re not supposed to make money from selling items, but from diving at night, but still. For me the price gouging breaks immersion.

If you want to buy some level 9 gloves, that’s gonna be around that 50k mark, but selling them on hard provides you with around a whopping 50 bucks.

I made it so you get like 20% – 30% of the price of the thing, so weapons and armor you’re not gonna use are also useful and a worthwhile prize even if you don’t want them.

Be mindful prices change by difficulty.

Next step I haven’t figured out yet is to flatten the price curve so level 9 things cost like double level 1 things, not 50.000.000.000%. Imagine the post apocalypse. Now imagine normal boots cost 100 “zombie bucks”. Who would pay 65.000 for a pair of boots?

Then figuring out how to balance armor and weapon costs. High level armor stands at about 10X the price of FOR EACH PIECE, meaning you can pay around 300.000 bucks for a full set of armor and around 5k for a high-end weapon. Absurd.

If anybody wants to help me figure this out, I’d be VERY grateful.

INSTALL:
Realizing not everyone has “show file extensions” turned on on windows explorer, here it is. The file is originally named data4.pak. But Nexus only accepts “.zip”s, so I just renamed he file data4.pak.zip. Right? Regardless, the file structure is correct. It’s the file you want to use. You just need to have it as a “.pak” so the game knows to unpack it. Next version I’ll put it inside a zip, promise.
