The animations in Dying Light 2 feel like a step forward in some ways, but as far as the “feel” of combat, are definite step back. Having frequent and predetermined animation sequences in combat makes combat feel less organic and unresponsive. This mod aims to improve on this aspect by lowering the thresholds to activate physics and tweaking simulation parameters to make movement more chaotic.
I plan to make occasional revisions to this mod. Here are my goals for future updates:
– More floppy limbs and internal collisions v1.2+
– Better partial ragdolls
– More rotational velocity v1.3
– Reduce Nonphysical bone restoration v2.0
– Shift the direction of velocity vector to keep bodies in FOV v1.3
– More slow motion effects v2.0
– Improve compatibility v1.3+
