DYING LIGHT PLUS REDUX
Want a more fun, realistic experience in Dying Light 2? Okay, I can do that.
This mod is a re-make ish of my other mod, named Dying Light Plus. The old mod had some issues and bugs in the beginning that took forever to fix, that and I wasn’t completely happy with the state of the mod. I made what was originally going to be a huge update for the mod, but decided it belonged as a total overhaul of the mod instead.
That being said, what does this mod add to the table?
Gameplay
– Survivor sense covers a slightly larger range
– Survivor sense icons take much longer to fade away, no more spamming.
– Survivor sense only detects AI close to the player.
– Once critical, your health will heal to 50% (Critical HP is 25%)
– Campfires health 10% of your health.
– Natural regen speed cut in half since you regen to 50% now
– Parkour flow music initiates sooner.
– Chance to dismember enemies doubled.
– Immunity timer decreased, lasts about 5 minutes at the beginning of the game, and about 8 minutes with all inhibitors.
– Many animations from E3 2019
– Important: XP gain is also increased all across the board, including normal gain, and night time bonus, expect to level up significantly faster and easier!
Movement
– Aiden’s base movement speed is slightly faster.
– A vertical wall run gains about half a meter less.
– A horizontal wall run lasts 1.25 seconds instead of 1.5
– When on water surface, hold shift do swim faster.
– The Dash is a bit faster.
– Movement acceleration was increased.
– Crouch speed increased slightly
– Finding objects to grapple is a bit easier.
– You can grapple from slightly further, including enemies.
– Far Jump sends you slightly higher.
– All active landing levels have an increased height.
– Paraglider is maxed out at level 1.
– Bigger afterboost window.
– Afterboost regens twice as much stamina.
– Paraglider (should) cost no stamina.
– Paraglider boost will take you a bit further.
Combat
– Drop takedowns can be initiated from further away and higher up.
– Stomp finisher can be initiated from further.
Enemies
I also wanted to make lower rarity weapons much more viable even at low levels, and make higher rarity weapons seem like the badass zombie lawnmowers that they are. So, I capped all enemies health at higher levels so that all weapons were very viable.
At higher levels, normal biters should only take about 1-2 hits to kill no matter the rarity.
So, we’ll go over all the health caps for all enemies.
No, bosses do not have health caps applied.
ALL Biter health caps at 200.
Viral health caps 500.
Volatile health caps at 4000.
Bolter health caps at 400.
Banshee health caps at 2000.
Charger health caps at 2000.
Spitter health caps at 1500.
Goon health caps at 5000.
Demolisher health caps at 7000.
Suicider health caps at 700.
And all human enemies health caps between 700 and 800.
