Dying Light 2 on Xbox One and PS4
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have finally been released for players to enjoy, but Dying Light 2 still hasn’t been released. The game was expected to come out all the way back in Spring 2020, well before the release of the new consoles. Sadly, this wasn’t the case and it got delayed. But the plus side is that Dying Light 2 was being made well before the release of these new consoles, meaning that it was definitely intended for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Many people haven’t been able to get their hands on the new consoles, so it’s great that Dying Light 2 for Xbox One and Dying Light for PS4 have both been confirmed.
The only obvious downside is that Dying Light 2 players on Xbox One and PS4 won’t be able to enjoy the great visuals, ray tracing, and frame rates of the new consoles. Those that have Dying Light 2 on Xbox Series X or PS5 will definitely get all these great benefits though. This is why a lot of people might prefer to wait a while after the release of game to get one of the new consoles and enjoy the game more through the new technology.
Regardless, there isn’t even a confirmed release date for the game so far, so there’s still plenty of time to decide which platform you’ll choose to get the game on. If you have one of the new consoles by its release, then you’ll be able to enjoy Dying Light 2 on PS5 or Xbox Series X with much better performances. Even if you didn’t get your hands on one, there’s the option to wait until you do, or simply use your PS4 or Xbox One to enjoy the previous gen versions of the game. In short, you’ll be able to enjoy playing Dying Light 2 even if you haven’t upgraded to the newer consoles yet.
