Dying Light 2 Gameplay
Dying Light 2 has been delayed once again, but fear not, the game is thankfully still under development. From what we have seen from the trailer and from what little information we could glean from its steam page. Dying Light 2 looks to be a better, enhanced version of Dying Light 1. The Dying Light 2 gameplay seems to have a similar style where your main character Aiden Caldwell is thrown into a zombie-infested wasteland and you have to make sure he lives through to see the next day. The core Dying Light 2 gameplay mechanic is still the same with weapon crafting, weapon upgrades, skill trees, skill upgrades, missions, factions, parkour, etc. But there are a few drastic changes as well. According to Techland, their new game has an extremely in-depth – your choices, your world – gameplay mechanic. Where every one of your choices affects the progression of your main character’s storyline as well as people who are living inside the settlement. So you’ll either play as a selfish bad-man or as a good samaritan. There is a Dying Light 2 multiplayer gameplay feature as well. Well, is Dying Light 2 multiplayer the same as Dying Light 1 multiplayer? No, the Dying Light 2 multiplayer gameplay is completely different because the game is based around your main character’s choices. Having other people interfere with these choices will defeat the whole purpose of creating such a gameplay mechanic. Is Dying Light 2 multiplayer going to be enjoyable? Yes, it will be. Because similar to Dying Light 1, Dying Light 2 also supports up to 4 players in a multiplayer game. Meaning you’ll enjoy a fully integrated, bug-free, zombie-killing party. The game will also support self-modding, this will make killing zombies, killing yourself, and killing your friends even more enjoyable.
