Bub’s Airship Mod

Adds flying airship. Travel to various locations in Villedor and visit Triumphal Arch.

Alpha version: Expect crashes, FPS drops, LOD issues and slightly longer loading times.
Always make backup of your save(s) when you play around with mods, thank you

Turn off motion blur for best visual experience
This airship will take you to various different points of interests. Interact with control panel and jump on top of the balloon. Airship will take off 10 seconds after button is pressed.
There is also one extra airship constantly looping between Old Villedor and Central loop. You’ll find it near the chemical area that separate main regions (see pictures).
I also added E3 Triumphal Arch as extra location for you to explore. Once you’re done you can either kys or interact with fast travel map (near the bike) to get back to Central Loop.
Also keep in mind that airships momentum doesn’t transfer to character. Jumping around on top of the balloon is risky especially when its accelerating.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Drag & drop data6.pak to game installation folder C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source
2. (Optional) Rename original city_persistent_pc.rpack to BACKUPcity_persistent_pc.rpack (Location C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets\city)
3. Drag & drop modded city_persistent_pc.rpack to City folder. Override original rpack if you skipped step 2.
If/when game gets updated you have to redo step 3 since Steam overrides modified .rpack file. Old BACKUPcity_persistent_pc.rpack can be removed when game is updated.

Mod doesn’t function properly during special events (double xp, hypermode etc). You must start Steam in offline mode or make firewall exception to disable Techlands live event service.

HOW TO UNINSTALL
1. Remove data6.pak from game installation folder
2. Delete city_persistent_pc.rpack
3. Rename BACKUPcity_persistent_pc.rpack back to original (Or verify game files if dont have that file anymore)
