Black pitched night without filter
-No reshade or filter
-Black pitched nights
-Decreased glow of lights reasonably but not removed, so there is no need for removing post process effects
-Changed clear night skybox to prologue skybox(more stars)
-Edited exposure and gave it the ability to reach absolute zero when in dark areas(including the night)
This mod keeps the visuals true to itself with no filter or reshade that makes the game feel non-polished, cartoonish, etc..
So exposure can actually reach ZERO which makes the game really dark if there was no light close, that’s why I buffed and enlarged the player flashlight.
Yes it does look like E3 2019 in dark areas, especially that I didn’t remove the glow effects or postprocess effects, because E3 2019 had them, check images.
At daytime, the shadows aren’t pitch black(which happens on non HDR screens), and you can actually see the zombie, and there will be some glow but not annoying like that of retail, glow now mainly is extracted from (lamps, flares, and UV ones as well, and some glow from the sky which tries to resemble that glow of E3 2019).
Ofc you would want to play this with more “DL1″ish night chases experience, so combine this with my “true to Dying Light” night chases mod for the complete experience.
