Dying Light 2 – co-op
Dying Light 1 is a great game that was praised for how unique it was. It was generally a very fun and enjoyable experience for most players, and it was even more enjoyable than ever thanks to the co-op multiplayer mode which allowed users to play with friends. Dying Light 2 will have co-op as well, as confirmed by the little information which we’ve gotten from the developers at this point. Dying Light 2’s co-op mode looks to be quite similar to Dying Light 1’s, but at the same time it seems to be quite different.
The biggest difference that you’ll note about the Dying Light 2 co-op mode is that there is now a host system. Like the previous game, up to 4 players can play together in Dying Light 2’s co-op mode. But unlike the previous game, one of these 4 players will have to host the game and the other three will have to join in. Given how different Dying Light 2 is set to be from Dying Light 1, we can expect a lot more gameplay changes in the Dying Light 2 player co-op play as well.
Little information has been shared regarding Dying Light 2’s co-op other than what’s been written above. It is still yet to be seen how other’s joining your host world will affect their progress and your own progress. Other details like this haven’t been discussed by the developers up to this point. In fact, we haven’t even received a confirmed release date for the game. We’ll likely learn a lot more about the game’s co-op before its release, and we’ll finally be able to enjoy playing it with friends when it launches. As for now, players have no option but to wait for further updates from the Dying Light 2 development team.
