The original game definitely had a storyline worth experiencing, and fans are hoping that Dying Light 2’s story can provide another great experience that they’ll remember for a long time. The main thing that we know for sure is that this sequel to the original Dying Light takes place 15 years after the events of the first game.

The infected have taken over pretty much everything at this point, and there’s little hope left for the survival of humanity. In these highly dangerous conditions, players take control of Aiden, the main character of Dying Light 2’s story mode. Players will be fighting and running away from zombies and ensuring their survival while hunting supplies and more. There are also factions and tribes created by humans who fight over said supplies and territory. The infected are definitely a huge threat, but if you don’t play your cards right in Dying Light 2, these factions are potentially an even bigger threat.

Speaking of which, players have a choice to decide how they wish to play the game. This will potentially affect the story and perhaps even the outcome of some things.
