Players have had some information shared with them about the sequel to Dying Light 1 ever since it was announced, and this includes information about the main character of Dying Light 2. Dying Light 2’s protagonist isn’t going to be the same as the first game. His name is Aiden Caldwell and he is quite skilled at parkour, as seen in the gameplay demo of the game.

Dying Light 2’s main character has amazing agility and is evidently very skilled at combat. This helps Aiden greatly in survival, as he is able to go against the infected in ways that no other person dares to. By far the most interesting detail about Dying Light 2’s protagonist which has been confirmed is the fact that he is infected. Aiden is both a zombie and a human at the same time as revealed in trailers. This makes him someone that is incapable of fitting into the world of either zombies or humans, as he is pretty much the worst of both sides in the eyes of most Dying Light 2 characters. Dying Light 2’s main character is certainly a very interesting person based on the little information we’ve gotten about him, and players certainly can’t wait to explore his story when the game releases.

One thing Dying Light 2 players will be disappointed to hear is that this means that there isn’t going to be any character creation in Dying Light 2. There will be a pre-set character who players will be taking control of. But there is still something similar for Dying Light 2 players to get excited about. Dying Light 2 has character customization, as confirmed by the people working on the game. To what extent this character customization goes is yet to be seen when it finally launches.
